Our Beliefs

THE BIBLE: The Bible is God's Word to us. It was written by human authors, under the supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit. It is the supreme source of truth for Christian beliefs and living. Because it is inspired by God, it is the truth without any mixture of error.

The Father, Son & Holy Spirit

God the Father: We believe God is the Creator and Ruler of the universe. He has eternally existed as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—three in one, equal in power and glory.

God the Son-Jesus Christ: We believe Jesus is the Son of God, fully God and fully man. He lived a sinless life, died on the cross as the perfect sacrifice for our sins, and rose from the dead after three days, showing His victory over sin and death. He ascended to Heaven and will one day return as King of Kings and Lord of Lords.

God the Spirit-The Holy Spirit: We believe the Holy Spirit is co-equal with the Father and the Son. He makes people aware of their need for Christ, lives in every believer from the moment of salvation, and gives power for living, understanding of truth, and guidance in righteousness. He gives every believer spiritual gifts and calls us to live daily under His direction.

People: We believe God created human beings, male and female, in His own image. Men and women are equal in value before God, have equal access to Him through faith in Jesus Christ, and are both called to live out the Great Commission and the Great Commandment. We believe that Adam, though created in God’s likeness, sinned by yielding to Satan’s temptation. Through his sin, all humanity became separated from God, corrupted in every part of life, and condemned to death—apart from God’s saving grace.

Salvation: We believe salvation is God’s free gift, received by faith in Jesus Christ. It cannot be earned by good works or self-improvement. A person is saved when they turn from sin and trust in Jesus as Lord and Savior. Eternal life begins the moment one believes in Him.

Eternal Security: We believe that those who are truly saved are kept secure by God’s grace and power forever. Salvation cannot be lost, because it rests on God’s work, not human effort.

Eternity: We believe people are created to exist forever—either eternally separated from God in Hell or eternally united with Him in Heaven through faith in Christ. Both Heaven and Hell are real places of everlasting existence
